“A crew of international astronauts are sent on a private mission to Jupiter’s fourth moon.” [Source]

I know very little about Europa. But, the most significant information I have learned in my years of minimal research on space is that Europa is one of the few, if not the only moon in our solar system proven to have an icy global coat. This has led to the idea that it could posess liquid water underneath. This notion has led many to believe Europa may have the resources to support life and that is the very reason the astronauts visit Europa in the Europa Report. Although I have never read the book “The Curse of Europa“, which I hear is what this film is based on, I feel that this will be an interesting movie. My only reservation is that I don’t want it to take the kind of turn that the movie Apollo 18 did. If the primary antagonist in the film is some sort of otherworldly organism or shall I say monster, I don’t want it to be some kind of bacteria or virus or creepy, weird rock spiders. I like my monsters to look like monsters. But, with that said, this IS a science-fiction film and not a horror film, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they took that route. I guess we’ll have to wait ’til June 27th to find out. Check out the trailer below and let me know what or who you think the primary antagonist will be?
