Sony videogame characters Ratchet & Clank go to the big screen…in 2015?

Yes, you heard that correctly: 2015. The computer-generated animated film will be created by production companies Rainmaker Entertainment and Blockade Entertainment with heavy influences from Insomniac Games, the video games’ creator. Some say it is about time the successful video game series got a silver screen makeover and although I have never played the video game, I have been saying for years that I would love to see more video games get remade into films. Following in the footsteps of animators Pixar and LucasFilms Ltd, Ratchet and Clank will have that glossy 3D aesthetic and voiceovers from the same actors of the video game. Judging from the trailer below it might just be a video game-turned-film worth watching. But, will it be worth waiting two years? This is just a teaser trailer but take a look and let me know what you think.
